We last left you with an image of the drone stuck in a tree. Well, it took some extra power boosters for the rotors and just some luck to get out of the branches. Slowly but surely, it came down and needed extra help from a long pole. Luckily, the drone was not injured and was good to fly. So this time we didn’t go crazy and just kept practicing.

Here’s another flight from the drone over Seneca. This is the second time up in the air and figured we’ll go higher. This flight didn’t go as planned…

If you didn’t know, we enrolled Avery into a kirate class after his interest during sessions with his home school group. He was nervous his first class but liked it and wanted to keep going. Here is a little clip of his second time in the class we wanted to share. Wax on, wax off…

Time to play “Name that sound”…round 2.

The boys were playing videos back on mama’s phone and we came across this one that we forgot we had. One of the boys’ favorite Christmas song is Feliz Navidad. Avison wanted to do a little dance to the song and here it is!

Here’s a little clip of Maya meeting the clock in the kitchen. Apparently she had been doing this for a bit before it was captured on video.

We finally had some good weather conditions for flying so it was time to break out the drone and give it a try. Here is the video from its first voyage outside. It’s not too exciting, a lot of grass, grass, bushes, and more grass. It’s shaky but only means room for improvement.
